NYC

even though i should be working on hw now, i'm gonna write about NYC.
we left for NY on fri. 8/7. we got to like PA and spent the night. then on sat. we got there and drove around the city. after that we went to our hotel. it was awesome. :) there was a pinkberry right across the street. i had it and i like kroger frozen yogurt better. i don't see what the big deal is. we walked all around new york. it was awesome. we were a few blocks away from the empire state building. i swear if you get lost in new york, you're an idiot.

on sunday we saw the broadway musical 9 to 5. my first broadway show ever. :) times square is very cool. its so big. but it wasn't as big as i thought it was going to be.
there were billy elliot signs everywhere. it made me depressed that all shows were sold out for the days we were gonna be there :'(

you can go up to the 102nd floor of the empire state building. it is the most amazing thing. you can see like EVERYTHING!! when i was in the lobby of it, all i could think of was that scene in elf where buddy the elf goes in the elevator and presses all the buttons. ha.

i didn't know you can't go UP into the chrysler building. b/c it is a private building. how stupid. but the lobby is pretty.

the subway is so cool. i was acting all like a new yorker when i would ride it. tried not to look like a tourist. lol. i don't think it worked very well.

DUDE!! i just remembered!!!! i was ON the today shpw AND martha stewart smiled at ME!!!!
two separate days though. i was just waving like crazy and smiling when i was on the today show and the next day we walked down to rockefeller center and idk if martha was on the today show that day or what but she was walking and my mom was like hey there's martha stewart!! and so my mom and i were like freaking out so my mom yelled martha and she looked over at us and smiled and waved and my mom got a pic! it was AWESOME!!!

okay im getting bored with writing.
